While it's pretty quiet in North Dakota for half marathons in the first half of the year, Fargo Half Marathon (and marathon) will kick off the half marathon season in May. Additionally, there have not been many additions of new half marathons in North Dakota over the past few years, however for 2014, Mainly Marathons is holding a race in ND, included in it's 5 day Center of the Nation Marathon and Half Marathon series. Runners start in Montana the 1st day, come to North Dakota for the second day, and then move on to South Dakota, Wyoming and Nebraska, to finish 5 half marathons in 5 states in 5 days!
